The program has been designed as universal product for surveillance cross platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Users view MPEG-4 coded picture and have full management of the program via network that surveillance server can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration extensively increases reliability because all modules operate as independent programs. If one component stops working, other modules keep on working. For instance if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` unit. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by activity, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant station through Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
