The program has been designed as general program for security cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same look and functionality on the local and remote computers. Users watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the software using network that security server can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably increases reliability because all components act as autonomous programs. If one component fails, other modules keep on running. For example if the `capture` part fails, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` part. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote server using Web interface. The software does synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
