The program has been created as general product for security hybrid platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and apart computers. Users see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software using network that security computer can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition extensively increases reliability because all units proceed as independent programs. If one component stops working, other units continue running. For example if the `record` unit fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` part. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by movement, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote computer using Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
